• No Account: We do not create a user account for you and do not collect names, email addresses, or contact information unless you contact us directly for support.
• Photos and Input: We may store biology homework photos, worksheet images, diagrams, lab prompts, textbook snippets, notes, and typed questions you provide for analysis.
• AI Results: We store AI-generated results, including detected questions, answers, explanations, key concepts, definitions, visual evidence, confidence notes, warnings, flashcards, quizzes, saved scans, and history.
• Chat Messages: We store your chat messages and the app's replies to provide conversation history and follow-up biology tutor help.

We do not collect unnecessary personal information.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to:

• Provide and improve Biology AI's homework scanning, typed question analysis, answer explanations, study aids, history, and AI chat features.
• Analyze uploaded or entered content using image analysis, text extraction, translation, and AI services.
• Store your scans, answers, generated study aids, and chat history securely so you can access them across sessions.
• Respond to support inquiries if you contact us.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data.

3. Educational Support Disclaimer

Biology AI provides educational biology support based on available images, visible text, typed questions, user notes, and AI analysis. It is not a teacher, school, textbook publisher, grading authority, academic integrity office, medical professional, laboratory safety authority, or professional biology service.

Always use Biology AI to learn and verify important work with your teacher, textbook, class materials, lab instructions, or qualified professional. You are responsible for following your school's rules and academic integrity policies.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your scans, typed questions, AI results, saved history, generated study aids, and chat messages are stored securely in our systems.

Some app versions may not yet include every deletion or privacy control. Where deletion controls are available in the app, deleted data is removed from our active systems. You may contact us for support with privacy or deletion requests.

5. User Responsibilities

You may not upload or generate:

• NSFW or sexually explicit images
• Illegal or harmful content, including child exploitation material, copyrighted works you do not own, or hate content
• Content that violates your school's academic integrity rules or asks Biology AI to help with dishonest conduct

We monitor for violations and may permanently suspend access for behavior that breaks these rules.

6. Subscriptions and Purchases

Payments are processed by the Apple App Store and Google Play. We do not store or have access to your payment details.

Biology AI may offer Weekly Premium for $3.99/week with a 3-day free trial and Yearly Premium for $24.99/year with no free trial. Prices, trial availability, and subscription options may vary by region and are shown in the app paywall or store purchase sheet. Subscriptions are auto-renewable but can be canceled via your App Store or Google Play account settings.

7. Consumption Data Shared with Apple

When you make in-app purchases, we may share limited data about your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple to assist in evaluating refund requests. This data may include your subscription status, account tenure, and delivery status of purchased content.

This sharing occurs only in the context of Apple's refund process and is handled in accordance with Apple's privacy policies. We do not use this data for any other purpose.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your stored scans, answers, study aids, and chat history in the app.
• Use available in-app controls or contact us to request deletion of stored scan and chat data.

9. Children's Privacy

Biology AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date.
